Brassica BAC clones

A subset of 200,031 Brassica GSSs, originating from BAC ends of the Brassica rapa KBr libraries, were analysed as above. These BLAST mappings were then post-processed to identify coupled pairs of BAC ends giving hits to the Arabidopsis pseudochromosomes consistent with microsynteny over a 500 kb range. It was found that 11,709 (about 14%) of the BAC clones analysed fell into this class. The KBrH BAC clones themselves are available from JIC\'s GeTCID service GFF file provided by the Arabidopsis thaliana Integrated Database (ATIDB) based at the John Innes Centre (JIC)
